LACK OF RESOURCES CAUSES OVERPOPULATION

As we all know, each person has a legitimate claim on a sufficient and fair amount of Earth’s resources. But with a population approaching 8 billion, even if everyone a

dopted a relatively low material standard of living, it would still push Earth to its ecological breaking point. When we use the term “overpopulation,” we specifically mean a situation in which the Earth cannot regenerate the resources used by the world’s population each year.

Overpopulation is the state whereby the human population rises to an extent exceeding the carrying capacity of the ecological setting. In an overpopulated environment, the number of people might be more than the available essential materials for survival such as transport, water, shelter, food, or social amenities. To help temper this wildly unsustainable situation, we need to understand what’s contributing to this overpopulation.

Poor family planning is one of the many factors contributing to overpopulation.

Family planning can be described as the Individuals' ability to determine their family size and the timing and spacing of their children has resulted in significant improvements in health and social and economic well-being. It is achieved through the use of contraceptive methods and the treatment of involuntary infertility. However, there are some Individuals who just do the deed without some sort of planning of what's going to happen afterward. These individuals are usually people who lack the knowledge and capabilities of obtaining contraceptives that they need to avoid getting unwanted pregnancies or any kind of STDs.

Unintended pregnancy is among the most troubling public health problems and a major reproductive health issue worldwide imposing an appreciable socioeconomic burden on individuals and society. Not only do too many unwanted pregnancies around the world causes overpopulation, but also its affecting fertility indicators causes reduced quality of life and workforce efficiency. Thus, making the individuals involved, burdened with additional bills that comes with bearing a child, keeping in mind that their workforce efficiency, which is needed to make ends, meet lacking.

Contraception is the most obvious way to prevent unintended pregnancy. Using it means better health, more girls in school, and greater resources for families, communities, and nations. And while all methods can fail or be used incorrectly, the biggest issue by far is people not being able to get the contraception that they need, when they need it. Most of the time this is not because of a lack of services or resources available to women. Most of the time this is because, in some shape or form, they are restricted from accessing these vital healthcare services and resources. That is why FamCom org is doing contraception programs all year round to make sure contraceptives are available when it is needed the most.
